My Yard!

Hiya Pups!

Sorry to be away so long - Mommy's hands have been busy making and addressing all the holiday cards. There were cards for family, friends, kitty friends and of course all the DWB card exchange cards! Then of course all the running around getting ready for the holidays - she's been one busy Mommy.

So I was going to tell you all about how busy Mommy and Daddy have been, how I've been so ignored and how they are about to abandon me for a week to go home to California for the holidays. But then this happened!

The winds were soooooo crazy this morning that the tree BROKE! Now it may not look too bad in this picture, but get a load of this...

And the very, very worst part - look what happened to my fence!

My Daddy worked all afternoon to try and fix the fence as best as possible, but I still don't like what's happened to my yard. How am I supposed to patrol the perimeter if there isn't one!? And even worse, now there are going to be workers in my yard trying to fix this! Maybe it's not such a bad thing that I'm off to camp soon - I don't know if I can handle this.

Hi, George! Cadbury says your yard looks like his neighborhood did after Hurricane Ike this fall!

He's glad you're enjoying the balls because as a rabbit, he knows all about the importance of chewing, and his humans know how nice it is not to have anything to clean up afterwards!

How awful about your fence, Georgie! We hope the workers fix it fast so that you can get back to your normal guard duty!

Love ya lots,

Gosh George that looks a major incident. We are so pleased you were not in the yard when the tree fell down. We are sure your fence will be sorted soon, perhaps you can supervise the men when they come and fix it.

What a nice yard-- but i'm so sorry about your fence! Dad says we should start checking out the trees in our yard because they're tall and wide and if they fall just right- we'll be right there with you guys- no yard anymore but a big tree!

Whoa! That's always scary when a tree falls or breaks... glad you weren't there when it happened!

Lucky you weren't outside patrolling the yard when that big branch crashed down!! That's really scary. Hopefully your fence will be fixed soon and everything will be normal again.

Thank you so mch for the card. What a great picture of you playing with your ball in the snow.

Your yard is nice but it's destroyed by that tree. Hopefully everything can be cleaned up & fixed soon. Luckily no one was hurt including you.
